Tree Ring Data Confirm Young Earth Age – Science uses tree ring data to correct for C-14 dating problems.  As reported in “Acts and Facts” October 2012, new data gathered by science in recent studies show that tree rings represent growth cycles in wet periods, and not annual periods, which had been theorized (see also the book “Science, Origins, & Ancient Civilizations – Scientific Evidence Withheld from School Textbooks”   <--- Live Link.  “It has been found that all trees, even slow growing ones, respond dynamically to tiny environmental changes, even hourly changes in growing conditions…Unusual storms with abundant rainfall interspersed with dry periods can produce multiple rings, essentially one per major storm.”  Therefore, tree rings do not correlate to “annual” growth periods, as had been theorized by science trying to “fix” C-14 dating problems (also see discussion on C-14 dating problems in the book “Science, Origins, & Ancient Civilizations – Scientific Evidence Withheld from School Textbooks”  <--- Live Link.

Evolution – How scientific theory is now “evolving” because the evidence doesn’t support macro-evolution (from ape to human)
– The more fossil evidence uncovered, the more changes (evolution), the scientific explanation must undergo to try and prop up a theory that is coming undone.  Actual scientific evidence is destroying the idea of a human “evolving” from other kinds (apes).  Today, evidence points towards many human types (species) actually living and inter-marring together.  The “evolution” being uncovered is of the micro type, where people develop different type bodies (short/tall/heavy/light), and other features typical within any biological group.  No proof of macro-evolution has been uncovered from kind to kind (ape to human).

     Still, conventional science won’t give up trying to spread the various species (types) of humans over millions of years in an effort to support the theory of evolution.  The evidence however (showing all these fossils are closely related and even intermarried), also opens up another can of worms for the evolutionist.  In their scientific articles they expose the problem.  They are using DNA from the bones to determine the relationship of all these various types of humans.  The problem for evolutionary science is trying to explain how bones supposedly 20,000 years old to 2 million years old are not actually fossilized yet.  They are still bones and can be tested for DNA.

     From “Science Illustrated” for Sept./Oct. 2012;  “Extremely well preserved…entire skeletons…that have not disintegrated in 2 million years…laying on the surface of the ground.”

     From “Science News” for August 25, 2012, in an article “Tangled Roots,” “…clear signs of interbreeding of human types…discoveries all due to retrieving DNA from fossils…hundreds of thousands of years old.”  The scientists say: “A dominate theory  (of human development), has to be revised.”  These scientists say there is a need now to test the DNA from bone samples in museum fossils from all over the world of various human types (supposedly 20,000 years old and older), to try and figure out how we are all interrelated.  Yes, Neanderthals are our cousins.

Predestination / Freewill / and Romans 5 – One of the great theological battles has concerned the relationship of God’s sovereignty (predestination), and man’s choice (freewill).  People often choose a church based upon the pastor’s view of predestination.  Is it possible to reconcile these two opposing views and unite the church? In the book of Romans, chapter 5 we find an important clue as to our relationship with God in Eden prior to this age we are now born into.  In Romans 5:10-11, three times the word” reconcile” is used, indicating a previous relationship.  Then, in Romans 5:12, God tells us that sin entered this age through Adam, implying, again, that there was a previous age (Eden), where sin originated with Satan.  Understanding our fall gives us understanding that God bases His predestination upon our freewill decision to deny Him in Eden, and our reaction.

Invisible Matter Disappears -  As reported in “Science News,” May 19, 2012, and also in the “Astrophysical Journal,” Dark Matter, the matter that science thinks makes up over 80% of the universe, cannot be found within our solar system.  There is a force--a very large force--that science cannot identify.  The long awaited results of the “Dark Matter” experiments have come back, and the invisible matter is missing.  The reports go on to say that they believe that this doesn’t mean that the dark matter doesn’t exist, but that science will need to reconsider what shape the dark matter takes.  “This is a major setback to our understanding of the age and formation of the universe,” according to the reports.  Of course, science classes in high schools and colleges will not consider this set back when they continue to proclaim that science has the evidence that the universe is billions of years old, despite all the real evidence against it.

Dinosaur “Soft Tissue” - Again, in the May 5^th 2012 issue of “Science News,” the dinosaur discoveries in northeast China, dated to be 125 million years old, are also noted as containing “well preserved ancient dinosaurs, along with their soft tissues.”  This was also reported in the April 5^th 2012 issue of “Nature.”  Both of these science sources support the theory of evolution as the basis for understanding current life forms, and yet the evidence from all over the planet continues to point to a very young age for these populations of dinosaurs, and not millions of years as theorized.  Scientists are troubled by the fact that many dinosaur discoveries from all over the world still have tissue and bone, and these have not turned to stone fossils.  The book on Science & Origins deals with many of these issues - BurneyFam.com.

    Take an Adulterous Wife--“Again”  Hosea (another Hebrew form of the name Jesus), is a type of Jesus, in that he pays a price to ransom his adulterous wife, “again” (Hosea 3).  God is providing us a clue to His plan of reconciling with us in this example given by Hosea.  For Israel, Jesus will pay a price (on the cross--His blood), to offer salvation to them, and this will be a second time that God has offered reconciliation to Israel (the first being at Mt. Sinai--Ex. 19-20).

     The rejection of God by Israel (the adulterous act), after Mt. Sinai’s reconciliation, is therefore the second time they will have rejected God (resulting in the need for God to “take an adulterous wife ‘again’”).  The question arises: When was the first time God’s creation rejected Him (which resulted in the reconciliation at Mt. Sinai)?

     Jesus also paid the price to reconcile the Gentile peoples who will trust in Him (Rom. 5:10-11).  When was it that we were together with Him, requiring now, that Jesus pay a price to reconcile us back?  The book “The Flat Earth & Genesis” deals with this in depth.

Inmate letter from Folsom Prison - Chaplain Gerry…I don’t know how, or why I began to receive your “Virtual Chapel” studies in the mail, but they have become part of my daily relationship with Jesus.  Today I also received a book (“Science, Origins, & Ancient Civilizations”), and am really enjoying it.  I have made many mistakes in my life and must seek God’s forgiveness.  I know in my heart that Jesus is the answer.  I just wanted you to know that I appreciate you, and those that support you, in your mission….

DNA from fossils?  Here we go again.  First it was dinosaurs, and now it is humans.  Science News, April 7, 2012, in an article titled “Ancient oddballs in Indonesia” points out that trying to explain human “evolution” requires DNA samples to be studied…and that this is “difficult” because these “fossils” are up to 95,000 years old.  As noted in previous updates here, dinosaur DNA is also being studied…on bones and “flesh” from millions of years ago.  Both the human and the dinosaur remains, it will be noted, do have non-fossilized bone and tissue…some DNA available…and therefore cannot possibly be as old as the conventional science tries to date them (evolution, of course, requires LONG periods of time,).  Scientists are debating this problem right now, and so far have no resolution to the problem of soft tissue and DNA remaining after millions of years.  See the book “Science, Origins, & Ancient Civilizations-Scientific Evidence Withheld from School Textbooks” (Please Click Here To Go To Book Page), or Amazon, B&N, or local book store.

Sun & Star Formation - In the “Science Illustrated” issue for March 2012, pgs 30-33, the issue of how stars are born is explored.  As astrophysicist Simon Zwart states in the article; “We used to think, up until a couple of years ago, that stars formed far apart from each other, but now we think that they form in dense clusters…this theory will be further explored with a new space probe in 2013.”  As pointed out in the book “Science, Origins, & Ancient Civilizations - Scientific Evidence Withheld from School Textbooks” - burneyfam.com, no one has ever observed a star forming, and the theories are all over the place.  In fact, evidence actually supports a very young star and solar system formation, as well as a very young age for supernova explosions.  The article in “Science Illustrated” also links data compiled to the decay rates of nickel found in meteorites.  Radiometric rates are a poor measurement technique according to scientists themselves, and this is also pointed out in the book “Science, Origins, & Ancient Civilizations…..”  Our ministry has several different books available, and donations go to supply books and messages to prison inmates all over the U.S. each, and every month.

Women keep silent ??  As a follow-up to the Study on “Tongues & Prophecy,” that's featured in our FREE Study this month, it is important to note that there is also much confusion in this same passage of Scripture (1 Corin. 12-14), concerning women being able to contribute to the discussion of Scripture.  In 1 Corinthians 14:34-35, the passage states that women must keep silent--that it is improper for a woman to speak in church.  This passage is misunderstood by many.  The context of chapter 14 is “tongues and prophecy.”  The letter is written by Paul to the assembly at Corinth because of their misuse and error concerning “tongues and prophecy.”  Paul, in this passage, is telling us that God gave these gifts to a few Jewish men, and in the Corinthian church women were trying to join in on the experience--and this was an error.  Verse 40 tells us that all things must be done properly--women must not speak in tongues or prophecy.  This sign (tongues), was given to a few Jewish men to use to convince unbelieving Jews of the truth of Jesus as the Messiah.  See the Study page for many other Scripture Studies, taken from God's Word!

Inmate letter from New York State Prison - I wanted to write you sooner, but a big battle broke out here and I was transferred to this new address…please keep me on your mailing list…please!  Our dorm officer got beat-up pretty bad, and I ran to get help, and they moved me because I would be a target back there.  Ironically, my actions may allow me to get released a year sooner…2014 instead of 2015…praise God.  I read your book “Science, Origins, & Ancient Civilizations” back in the old prison, but had to leave it there.  I’m putting in a request for the book “The Flat Earth & Genesis” if possible this year when you send out books.  Unlike most Christians with this miraculous ability to believe the seemingly unbelievable on faith alone, I could not.  I needed an explanation.  It was a great wall that stood between the Lord, and one which only a science approach like you wrote in your book could remove.  Exploring His creation is my way of discovering my Father, and your book helped me overcome many barriers.  My wife sends her blessings to you as well, thanking you for clearing up my relationship with Christ.  Looking forward to the next study.  Thank you…..

Please Read - This months FREE Study on “Tongues,” “Prophesying,” and “Healing” is very controversial (go to www.burneyfam.com and click onthe "FREE"button).  However, it is not meant to be divisive.  It will be up for FREE for a month or so, and then available as a gift for a donation later.  I love all my Christian brothers and sisters.  And, we all desire to know the truth, and rely upon the Holy Spirit to instruct us.  I have shared this study with those who participate in speaking in angelic tongues, and prophesying.  And, while we haven’t yet found agreement on these specifics, we are in agreement on loving God, and spending time with each other in heaven one day.  The purpose in pursuing these studies is to find unity, and Christ is our unity, and we do all love each other.  I look forward to biblical responses, both pro and con, that will help us all grow in the faith.  I thank you for your prayers for this ministry to our prison inmate brothers and sisters.  As we get closer to the Bible, and as a result, closer to God, we will also get closer to each other…can’t wait…love you all!
